The hotel in Eastbourne lacked any kind of luxury and the rooms were too small for a couple. However, the friendly service and the perfect location near the beach and station were notable. The dining experience could have been improved, and the view of the Lifeboat Museum added charm to the setting.

The location is perfect, just 10 minutes walk from the station and 2 minutes from the beach. It brings back a homely and 'CAN DO' attitude to the service industry that is often refreshing and lacking in bigger chains.
